Q: What time will the courier arrive?

A: Our Couriers operate between 9 and 5.30. You will get a text message with the couriers expected arrival time

 

Q: What happens if there is a disagreement about the condition of the unit regarding spec or condition?

A: You will be contacted by one of our advisors and offered an alternative price. If the adjustment is not to your liking we will return the item free of charge.

 

Q: How will I be paid?

A: You can be Paid by either Paypal or bank transfer

 

Q: Do I need to include all accessories?

A: Yes if you don’t you may be deducted the value of the items.

 

Q: How long will the process take?

A: Normally once delivery of your item has taken place booking and testing your item should take 48hrs.

 

Q: I have more than 1 item I wish to trade in do I have to use the quote system?

A: No we do a lot of work with industry and education. Please fill in the contact us form and we will get back to you.

 

Q: How do I find out the spec of my Mac?

A: The easiest way to get an overview of your system is to simply click the Apple logo on the top left of the menu bar and then “About This Mac.” Here, a simple window tells you your processor and memory details, as well as the version of Mac OS X you are running

 

Q: How do I find out the spec if I have wiped the hard drive?

Q: Data Security?

We take the security of your data very seriously and we will help you keep your personal data safe.

Before shipping your Apple Mac to us there are a few important steps you must follow for your own security.

Whilst the security of your data is your responsibility, we will securely erase any information left on the device so it is vital that you have taken a backup of any information you wish to keep.

This means your data cannot be recovered by you or the next owner of your machine.  We use government accredited erasure tools to guarantee your residual data cannot be recovered.

If you need help erasing your device please contact us and we will do our very best to help you.

Please remember you must:

1.      Back Up your data – you cannot get it back after.

2.      Sign out of iTunes

3.      Sign in and remove from iCloud

4.      Sign out of iMessage (OS X Mountain Lion or later)
