The iPhone XR is an iPhone for people on a budget, but it doesn’t feel like a budget phone. Most of the features in more expensive iPhones are represented in this phone even if they aren’t exactly the same. The ones that don’t come with the iPhone XR are probably ones that you would be willing to do without in order to have the privilege of owning an iPhone at a price that doesn’t break the budget.
